Our Faucherie Camping Trip

This past weekend our homegroup and Kevan/Jenny's homegroup went to one of the most beautiful lakes I've ever been to.  There were many times I looked out at the mountains and the lake and I was left speechless.  It reminded me of one of my favorite songs - "Nothing to Say" by Andrew Peterson - in which he sings of how floored he is by all of God's creation that it leaves him speechless and absolutely lifts his spirit up.  There are few things I love more than being outdoors and in Creation.  Taking a line from the song, "The mountains sing your glory hallelujah, the canyons echo sweet amazing grace, my spirit sails...and I've got nothing to say."

Along with being outdoors, I love being with my friends and our homegroup.  And this weekend I got to do both!  Hanging with Kevan/Jenny's homegroup was wonderful as we shared stories - scary, funny and very personal - and as we played, got each other wet, hiked, played in the water and ate BBQ dinners and late night snacks.  I hope next time you can all join us!  Here are some pics of our trip from kevan's flickr site:
